Sarcasm is a statement commenting on things we can change and things beyond our control. Empathy gives us the ability to see the difference. We are in a world of constant change, but with our own boundaries respected and empathy to appreciate others boundaries, we can cope better with change. Everything doesn’t necessarily need to be “ok”.
